Robert Louis Giles

Robert Louis Giles, 44, 152 Gray Station Road, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Giles was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. He was a son of the late Grover and Mildred Hurdt Giles. His grandparents, James Wiley and Biddie Giles and James and Ruth Hurdt, preceded Mr. Giles in death. He was an employee of Kennametal Inc. Mr. Giles was a member of Keystone Free Will Baptist Church and attended Grace Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include one brother, James Giles, Johnson City; one niece, Niki Giles, Johnson City; four aunts, Joyce Rash, Talbot, TN, Shirley Hurdt, Johnson City, Eula Mae Hurt, Piney Flats and Louise Giles, Jonesborough and his dear friend aunt Bessie Fender, Piney Flats. A Celebration of Life service for Robert Louis Giles will be held at 8 PM Monday, March 24, 2008 at Grace Free Will Baptist Church. Reverend Curtis Hurt and Reverend Bill Greer will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Grace Free Will Baptist Church.
