Roberta H. Hodges

Roberta H. Hodges, 80, of 167 Price Road, Johnson City, died Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Avery County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Ralph and Rexie Brown. Roberta worked in the resources department of the Johnson City Medical Center. She was member of the Princeton Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: her husband Fred L. Hodges of the home; seven children, Ann McLaughlin of Jonesborough, Kay Connell of Cummings, GA, Rita and husband, Edward Davis of Louisburg, NC, Freddie and wife Cathy Hodges of Canton, GA, Jerry and wife Judy Hodges of Elizabethton, Sue Whitaker of Johnson City and Kenny and wife Ann Hodges of Jonesborough; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home, burial will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2008 at the funeral home.
