Ronald Royce Wheeler

Ronald Royce Wheeler, 58, of Hampton passed away on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at his residence. He was a native of Yancy County, North Carolina and a son of the late Royce and Essie Randolph Wheeler. He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Aiden Cain Royce Tinker.Mr. Wheeler was a veteran of the US Army and was of the Baptist faithMr. Wheeler was a truck driver for the 21st American Company. Survivors include: his wife, Bobbie J. Wheeler; one daughter, Rhonda J. Wheeler of Hampton; three step-sons, Timmy Ayers of Hampton, Chuck Campbell and Terry Campbell both of Johnson City; four sisters, Betty Falk of Erwin, Lavada Oleary of Richlands, WA, Christine Hutchins of Unicoi and Donna Miller and her husband Kenneth of Boones Creek; six grandsons and two granddaughters. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm, Monday, November 16, 2009 in Morris-Baker South Chapel. Preacher Steve Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Snyders Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Timmy Ayers, Chuck Campbell, Terry Campbell, David Adkins, William Miller, Kenneth Miller and Wayne Bennett.
