Rosa Lillian Hamly, 83, of Johnson City died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Lakebridge Healthcare Center. She was a native of Washington County, daughter of the late Earl and Clarice Moore Hensley. Rosa was a homemaker and longtime member of the Telford United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, her husband, Louis Hamly and a brother, Carl Hensley of Nashville, preceded her in death. Survivors include, her cousins Carla and Phillip McLain of Johnson City; two brothers-in-law, Ralph Hamly and wife Ruby of Johnson City and Earl Hamly of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews and cousins. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, November 18, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Bishop Richard Looney pastor of Telford United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at seven. A committal service will be conducted on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery. The family would like to express thanks to the staff of the Lakebridge Healthcare Center, not only for the loving care extended to Rosa, also for the care they provide to all their residents every day.
