Mr. Roscoe E. Head, 88, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at his home. Roscoe was from Unicoi County and moved to Johnson City in 1938. He was the son of the late John Hunter and Martha Britt-Head. He was employed by Bolton Block Company for 45 years, where he was a sales representative. He served 3 ½ years in the Army during WWII and served in Europe for 2 years. Mr. Head was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Hill-Head; two brothers Mark and James Head and one sister Edith Hager. He is survived by his two daughters Gail Victoria Kiser and husband Howard of Jonesborough and Patricia Stephenson and husband Tony of Flag Pond; sons Steven R. Head and wife Betty and Randall R. Head and wife Pat, all of Johnson City; two brothers, Steven J. and Bill Head; two sisters, Rosalee Langley, and Alice Hamilton; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends, Thursday, 6-8pm, at Morris Baker Funeral Home with services immediately following at 8pm and Dr. Reggie Weems officiating. Burial will be held, Friday, 11am at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be friends and family Memorials may be made to Heritage Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1512 John Exum Parkway Johnson City, TN 37604
