Ruby Cofer Williams

Ruby Cofer Williams, 69, of Johnson City passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 in Kingsport. She was a native of Johnson City and a daughter of the late William Joseph Cofer and Lorena Cofer Johnson. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Scott and Greg Williams and one daughter, Pamela Williams. Mrs. Williams was a member of McKinley Memorial Bible Church and worked for Tennessee Eastman for many years.Survivors include three sons, Joe Williams of Limestone, Steve Williams of Jonesborough and Larry Williams of Jonesborough; two daughters, Susie Williams-Ali of Johnson City and Debbie Williams of Jonesborough; one brother, J. W. Cofer of Greensboro, NC; one sister, Linda Pittman of Johnson City; nine Grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 am Tuesday from Washington County Memory Gardens with Lenny Smith, Pastor officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Williams, Steve Williams, Larry Williams, Bradley Williams, Jared Williams, Alex Williams, Jeff Williams and Joey Ali .The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 11:00 am on Tuesday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to McKinley Memorial Bible Church.
