Ruby Mae Hall

July 29, 1919 — October 19, 2012

Ruby Harrison Hall, 93, of Gray, died Friday, October 19, 2012 at the residence of her daughter. She was a native of Washington County, daughter of the late James L. and Laura Conner Harrison. Ruby was a homemaker. She was a member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church but had attended the Wayland Baptist Church for many years. She was a great cook and loved to sew. In addition to her parents, her husband Wilson Hall had preceded her in death in 1978; two sisters, Debbie Kitzmiller and Hazel DeVault; four brothers, Jessie, Roscoe, Dewey and Fred Harrison. Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and David Jeter of Gray; her sister, Pauline Friday of Johnson City and her grandson, Bryan Jeter of Gray; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, October 22, 2012 at Morris '? Baker Funeral Home in the South Chapel, under the direction of Rev. Charles Miller. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm. A committal service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be: Jackie and Chad Fleenor, Jimmy Shipley, Daniel Jeter, Randy and Lynn Sprinkle and Mike Jeter. Honorary pallbearers will be: Don Hall, Bill Ward, Jimmy and Richard Harrison. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to the MSHA Foundation, 2335 Knob Creek Road, Suite 101, Johnson City, TN 37604. The family would like to offer sincere thanks to: Dr. Paul Brown and his nurse Christy, The Mountain States Hospice and Dr. Keith Cook.
