Ruth Hall Higgins

Mrs. Ruth Hall Higgins, 85, of Johnson City, TN passed away Monday, February 17, 2014, in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Higgins was a native of Floyd, VA. She was the daughter of the late Thurman Lee and Nancy Auprey Salmons Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, William 'Bill'? Higgins; brother, James Arthur Hall; and sister, Nancy Lee Hall. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Terri Brown and her husband John, Reading, PA; two grandsons, Will and Kevin Brown, Reading, PA; two nephews; and one niece. The family of Mrs. Ruth Higgins will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Friday, February 21, 2014 in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday, February 22, 2014 in St. Marys Catholic Church, under the direction of Father Peter Iorio. The committal service will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12:45 PM Saturday to go in procession for those services.
