Ruth L. Ollinger

Mrs. Ruth L. Ollinger, 93, died Monday, February 20, 2012, at Lakebridge Health Care Center. A native of Avery County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Ora Trivett Estep. Ruth had been a resident of Johnson City since 1936. She was also a member of Piney Grove Free Will Baptist. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Hubert Ollinger; sister, Anna Driscoll; and two brothers, Barney Trivett and Joe Estep. She is survived by one sister, Jerry Stout of Pogie Hollow, NC and two brothers Jim Estep of Kentucky and Ronald Estep of New York. The family will receive friends, Thursday, 6:30-7:30pm, at Morris Baker Funeral Home. Services will follow at 7:30pm with Rev. Paul Crowe officiating. Burial will be held, Friday, 11:30am, at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
