Ruth Norris Honeycutt

Ruth Honeycutt, age 76, died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Johnson County a daughter of the late Walter Norris and Mabel Crowe Norris. Mrs. Honeycutt was of the Pentecostal Faith. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clarence Honeycutt; one daughter, Christine Laws and husband Daryl of Johnson City; four sons, Dallas Honeycutt and wife Nancy of Jonesborough, Daryl Honeycutt and wife Jeannette of Jonesborough, Dale Honeycutt and wife Bonnie of Johnson City, and Mark Honeycutt of Johnson City; eight grandchildren, Debbie Williams and husband Travis, Angie Honeycutt, Jeff Laws and wife Erica, Brandy Copas, Dustin Honeycutt, Jennifer Honeycutt, Amber Honeycutt, and Josh Honeycutt; three great grandchildren; one brother, Stanley Norris of Cincinnati, Ohio; special friends, Jim and Brenda Ward; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday evening, September 6, 2010, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Morris Baker South Chapel. A funeral service for Mrs. Ruth Honeycutt will follow at 7:00 pm in the Morris Baker South Chapel with Pastor Jack Maupin officiating. Burial will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 9:00 am in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 8:45 am on Tuesday morning for the graveside service. The family would like to say a special thanks to Medical Center Hospice, Dr. Paul Brown, Jennifer Anderson, Sarah Reed caregivers, and Ivy Tester nurse.
