Sandra Crutcher McGaha of Johnson City, TN was called home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2012. Sandra was a native of Johnson City and was the daughter of the late Owen and Doris Crutcher. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Norman 'Mac'? McGaha. Sandra cherished her family and she fully devoted herself to being a loving wife and mother. She is survived Mike McGaha, and their two daughters, Cassandra Ruth 'Cassie'? McGaha and Amie Michelle McGaha, all of Johnson City, TN. Sandra is also survived by her aunt June Fletcher of Birmingham AL and her mother-in-law, Betty McGaha of Johnson City, TN. Sandra is also survived by her sister Charlotte C. Malone and her husband Gordon of Charlottesville, VA and her two bothers: Randy Crutcher and his wife Ann and Keith Crutcher and his wife Marty all of Jonson City TN; two sisters-in-law; Betty Furches and her husband James of Madisonville, TN and Sue McGaha of Johnson City TN; and her brother-in-law Dave McGaha of Oviedo, FL In addition to these,there are also many nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends After graduating from Science Hill High School, Sandra attended Samford University and earned a BS degree in Interior Design. She was a licensed Interior Designer and a member of the ASID As a life-long member of Central Baptist Church, she enjoyed serving her Lord by teaching Sunday School to numerous age groups, chairing and serving on many committees, helping with children and youth and supporting her church by faithful attendance. Sandra enjoyed volunteering and being a help to others not only in the church, but also in the schools where her girls attended and in the community The burial service will be held at Monte Vista Memorial Park on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 3 p.m. for the family. Pallbearers will be: Dr. Marc Aiken, Mark Eades, Cleve MacLane, David Taylor, and Gregg Tipton. A Memorial Service will be held at Central Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. with Dr. Ronald F. Murray officiating. A time of visitation for friends and family will be held immediately following the service in the Welcome Corridor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Central Baptist Church at 300 N. Roan Street, Johnson City, TN. Also memorials may be sent to: Sarah Cannon Research Institute at 3322 West End Avenue, Suite 900, Nashville TN 37203 or to Hope Lodge at 2008 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville TN 37203.
