JOHNSON CITY- Mrs. Sara Fay Norris, 75, of Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 18, 2011, at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Fay was a member of The First Church of the Brethren. She was born in Ooltewah on October 24, 1935, and grew up in Harrison. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Johnson and was also preceded in death by four brothers; Junior, Paul, Donald, and Johnny Johnson and one sister, Linda Thorton. Fay is survived by her loving husband Charles 'Pete'? Norris of Johnson City; son Richard Trivett and wife Christy of McDonald, GA; daughter Judy Miller and husband Bill of Rising Fawn, GA; step daughter Jane Pearce and husband Larry of Surgoinsville, step son Mike and wife Karen of Johnson City; three brothers, James Johnson and Dennis Johnson and wife Mary of Ringgold, GA and Kenneth Johnson and wife Doris of Chickamauga, GA; and one sister Liz Jones and husband Ben of Ringgold, GA; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Jones Funeral Home in Tunnell Hill, GA was from 4-9pm on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. The family will also receive friends at Morris Baker Funeral Home on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will follow at 8:00pm with minister Bo Deaton officiating. A graveside service will be held, 10:00am, Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Monte Vista Cemetery. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:45 am on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The First Church of the Brethren, 122 Bart Green Drive, Johnson City, TN 37601
