Sean Monroe Buchanan

Sean Monroe Buchanan, 49, of Piney Flats died Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a native of Long Beach, California, son of the late June Lanier Otwell and William Monroe Buchanan.
Sean was a carpenter for all his career.
In addition to his parents, a son, Jeremy Sean Buchanan preceded him in death eight years ago.
Survivors include; his soulmate and fiance’ Donna “D” Buchanan; adopted son, Henry Mohler, daughter, Kimberly Buchanan and granddaughter, Ember Sophia Buchanan; sister and brother-in-law, April and David Copas; nephew and wife, Bob and Kathryn Copas; special great niece, Daisy Copas, special niece, Kasey Copas; special nephew Jayce Copas. A very special loved one, Robin Perry; lifelong friend and brother, Tom Matthes; stepdaughter, Nicole Blackstone; special friends, Jerry Porter and Joseph Greer; lifelong friends, Lynn Ellis, Amy Black and Braden Black. Also surviving are several extended family members on his side of the family and his beloved dogs, Bella and Weinie whom he considered his best friends.
Sean is to be cremated and a service will be held at a later date.
