Seth “Bubba” M Henson, 23, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023, at his residence in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Seth was an intelligent and quick-witted young man. He would have intellectual and deep conversations for hours. He had an old soul and seemed wise beyond his years. He cared deeply for those he loved and was afraid of nothing. He was a Rick and Morty-loving, vans wearing, music-playing jokester. He was always showing you funny memes and making jokes. There was never a dull moment around him. He was so strong mentally, physically, and emotionally. He was not always dealt the best cards, but he always made do in all circumstances. He was just such a selfless person, he didn’t ask anything of anyone, even in times of need. To know him was to love him. And as he would say, he’s “built different”.
Seth graduated Science Hill High School in 2017 and received an associate’s degree at Northeast State Community College in 2020.
Seth was preceded in death by: his uncle, Theodore Henson; his grandfathers, Gary Nickles and Johnny Henson; his papaw, Tommy Hall; and his granny, Noretta Henson.
Those left to cherish his memory include: his parents, Christina Nickles and Wesley Lawson; his father, Matthew Henson; his sister, Lilly Henson; his momo, Dianne Ford; his nana, Susan Shipley; his aunts, Lesa Range, Kim Osborne, and Wendy Henson; his cousins Jason Osborne, Katelyn Duncan and many others in the extended family; as well as many beloved friends including: Melanie Miller and Hayli Evans.
The family of Seth Henson will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
