On Saturday, October 9, 2010, Shirley Ann Loveless Hartley was called home to go rest and rejoice in the arms of Jesus. Shirley was a Godly woman who instilled her deep faith of the Lord Jesus Christ with those whom she came in contact with.She was a devoted wife of 46 years to Clyde, whom she cared for, for many years. She was a Godly mother of two '? Jeffery Lynn Hartley & wife, Rose of Johnson City and a daughter, Melissa Hartley Gunter & husband Chris of Charlotte. NC.She was an active member of Oakland Avenue Baptist Church. She had two beautiful granddaughters '? Heather Hartley Campbell and Chelsea Elizabeth Gunter and one precious great granddaughter, Cadence Campbell. She has one special grandson '? Elijah Jack Hartley. She had two special brothers '? Rev. Norman (Bud) Loveless and wife Bonnie, and Kenneth Loveless and wife Brenda, all of Carter County.Many nieces and nephews. A life long friend, Marie TiptonHer parents Dave and Mildred Loveless and a stepson Clyde Junior Hartley preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Thursday from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Rev. Roy Yelton, Dr. Reggie Weems and Rev. Norman Loveless will officiate. Burial will follow in the Washington County Memory GardensActive Pallbearers are Dale Hartley, Bobby Loveless, Danny Loveless, Eric Odom, Kevin Pitman and Woody LyonsHonorary Pallbearers include Timothy Jenkins, Bobo Jenkins, Ben Jenkins, Kenny Wayne Loveless, David Warden and Wayne WatsonSpecial thanks to the staff at Morrisons Cafeteria and a dear friend Debbie Snapp.In lieu of flowers please donate to the St. Judes Children Research Hospital.
