Solana Lyle

Solana Lyle, 15, 252 Malone Hollow Road, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009 from injuries sustained in an accident. Solana was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was a daughter of Mark and Suzanne McLean Lyle. Solana was a sophomore at Daniel Boone High School where she served as Assistant Farm Manager of the FFA, was a member of the Sheep Team. She also showed Beef Cows for Preston Farms. She was an active member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, was employed by WF Stables and was a babysitter. Solana leaves her mother, Suzanne Lyle, her father, Mark Lyle and one sister, Samantha Lyle, all of Jonesborough; maternal grandmother, Marillyn S. Mclean; uncle, John D. McLean and aunt, Tracey G. McLean all of Morganton, NC; cousins, Amanda Walsh and Jason McLean; paternal grandparents, Fred D. Lyle, Jr. and Jean Lyle, Lutz, FL; uncle Fred D. Lyle III, Jonesborough; cousins, Fred D. Lyle IV, Logan H. Lyle and Ethan C. Lyle and several great aunts, uncles and cousins. The family of Solana Lyle will receive friends from 4:00 pm until a service time of 7:00 pm, Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Reverend James Bennington and Reverend Bethany Douty will officiate. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Small Miracles Therapeutic Horse Riding, P.O.
