Sonya Ann Malone-Miller, 45, of 806 Bishopville, South Carolina, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at the Tuemomy Hospital, Sumter, SC following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late, William and Earlene Townsend Malone. Sonya was a former textile worker for the Standard Warehouse and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Malone; a sister, Melissa Malone; grandfather, Joe Malone and her father-in-law, Pierce Miller, Sr. Survivors include: her husband, Pierce Miller of the home; two sons, Travis D. Vines and Kevin L. Vines both of Bishopville, SC; a sister, Rebecca Malone; and two brothers, Christopher Malone and Tim Malone all of Johnson City; her paternal grandmother, Hattie Mae Malone of Jonesborough; her mother-in-law, Evelene Miller of Johnson City; three grandchildren, Chelsea Blake Vines, Taylor Marie Vines and Cheyenne Alexis Vines, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, November 27, 2005 at the Morris - Baker Funeral Home north chapel at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Rev. Rick Chapman. A committal service is planned to follow the funeral service in the Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bluff City. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be: Zack Miller, Greg, Charlie and Danny Miller, Richard Burleson and John Rice.
