Steve Tweed

Steve Tweed, 56, 141 West Market Street, Johnson City died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Tweed was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. He was the son of the late James and Gladys Wilson Tweed. Steve was a volunteer at The Melting Pot in Johnson City and was awarded the 'Volunteer of the Year ' in 2005. He was an active member of the William Rigell Sunday School Class at Central Baptist Church. He also served on the church construction mission trips. Survivors include his church family at Central Baptist Church. The funeral service for Steve Tweed will be conducted at 1 PM Friday, May 18, 2207 at the Central Baptist Church. Dr. Ron Murray and Rev. Tony Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 PM Friday at the church. Active pallbearers will be friends from his Sunday School Class.
