T.C. Huff

Mr. T.C. Huff, 95, 640 Rock Springs Road, Kingsport passed away Thursday April 30, 2009 in the Remington House Assisted Living Community. Mr. Huff was a native of Greene, County who had lived in Johnson City since 1952. He was the son of the late Clark and Grace Richeson Huff. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosella Brooks Huff; one sister, Helen Haire; one brother, James Huff. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Huff retired from North Electric as a welder after twenty years of service. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son, Ron Huff of Johnson City; one daughter, Frances Burleson of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Scott Huff of Gray, Kristi Huff of Kingsport and Len Burleson of Atlanta, Georgia; two great grandchildren, Matthew Huff and Abagail Huff; several nieces and nephews. The graveside service for Mr. T.C. Huff will be conducted at 3 PM Sunday May 3, 2009 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pastor Ronnie Brashear, Sr. will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The Bristol VFW Honor Guard will accord military honors. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 2:50 PM Sunday.
