Thelma Armenta Casida

Thelma Armenta Casida, 88, Johnson City, died Thursday, November 26, 2009 at Appalachian Christian Village. Mrs. Casida was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was a daughter of the late Elijah and Madge Tittle and was also preceded in death by several brothers. Mrs. Casida was a retired Watkins Products representative. She was a member of a non- denominational religious organization and a member of the Johnson City Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include one son, Ed Casida, Johnson City, one daughter, Charlotte Armenta Prim and her husband, Dr. Gary Prim, Stuart, FL, one granddaughter, Teresa Judy, Johnson City and one granddaughter, Victoria Judy, Johnson City. The family of Mrs. Casida will receive friends in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home North Chapel from 1:00 pm Monday, November 30, 2009 until the 2:00 pm service time. Mr. Eric White and Mr. Douglas Odgen will officiate. Committal services will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
