Thelma Eloise Wills, age 78, Johnson City, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Wills was a Watauga, TN native who lived all of her life in the region. She was a daughter of the late Ralph Bingham and Edith Marie Felts Feathers. She was a member of the Skyline Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Wills retired as a seamstress with H. P. H. Apparel, Piney Flats. In addition to her parents, Ms. Wills was preceded in death by: her husband, Bob Wills; son, Bobby Wills; sister, Emogene Smith; brother, Ralph Edward 'Boy'? Feathers; and a special uncle, Frank Felts. Survivors include: two daughters, Janet Boggs, and her husband, Wimpy, of Rockingham, NC, Sondra Wills, of the home; three grandchildren, Denise Rambo, of Johnson City, Jeffrey Boggs, of Florida, and Derek Wills, of Kingsport; three great-grandchildren, Nickolaus and Kailen Rambo, both of Johnson City, and Emma Grace Wills, of Kingsport; five sisters, Linda Kolendorfer, of Florida, Dorothy Bright, of Indiana, Jo/Ellen Tester, of Johnson City, Geraldine Cook, of Indiana, Shirley Love, and her husband Carlyle, of Erwin; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Paul Brown, his nurse Christy Perkinson, and Mrs. Wills caregiver, Melinda Carter. The funeral service of Thelma Eloise Wills will be conducted 8:00 PM, Wednesday, from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Kenneth Kyker will officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to meet at Morris-Baker by 10:40 AM Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery for those services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Morris-Baker.
