It is with both sorrow and celebration that we announce the passing of Theresa Lynn Bumgarner, who left this world on December 10, 2024, in Johnson City, Tennessee. Born on August 26, 1961, Known as Terri to friends and family she lived a life marked by dedication, compassion, and a deep commitment to her family and career.

Terri was a graduate of ETSU with a Bachelor's degree and achieved great success as an IT Manager in the chemical industry with Eastman Chemical Company. Throughout her professional journey, she inspired her colleagues and contributed to the growth and innovation of her field.

Above all, Terri cherished her role as a loving wife to her husband, Keith Bumgarner. Their union was a testament to partnership, filled with love, understanding, and support, and they created countless treasured memories together. More than anything else she loved her daughters Kelley and Ashley and their husbands Chris and Steven. Her grandchildren Cash, Callie and Carter were truly the lights of her life. Nothing made her smile more than to hear them call out for "Mimi".

Terri's life was one of joy, kindness, and generous spirit. She touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of warmth and celebration. Friends and family are encouraged to remember Terri with sadness, but with joy for the light she brought into their lives.

In honor of Terri's legacy, a celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date, where all who knew and loved her can come together to share stories, laughter, and fond memories. Details will be announced soon, inviting everyone to celebrate the remarkable woman Terri was.

May she rest in peace, knowing she made the world a brighter place for all who had the privilege to know her.
