Thomas Howard Correll, Sr.

Thomas H. Correll, age 92, died on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at the Four Oaks Health Care Center in Jonesborough. He was born in Washington County, Tennessee to the late Samuel Burton Correll and Bessie Lena Shaw Correll. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Charlie, Ralph, Gene, John and Bill Correll; four sisters, Anna Weems, Edith Phillips, Elizabeth Wise and Sarah Young. Mr. Correll is survived by his wife, Jean deVere Cottrell of Johnson City, TN; three sons, Chris S. Correll and his wife Vicky of Telford, TN, Kenneth R. Correll of Blountville, TN, Thomas H. Correll, Jr.and his wife Betty of Gray, TN; one daughter, Pearl Cotrell Farrey and her husband Justin ; one son, Anthony Bruce Forbes; five grandsons, Chad Correll, Josh Correll, Kasey Correll Jude Anthony Farrey and Finn Isaac Farrey; two granddaughters, Nikki Correll and Robyn Correll; two Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00pm Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Pastor John Reed will officiate.
