Thomas 'Jack' Jackson Weaver, 84, of 254 Weaver Hollow Road, Johnson City, died Saturday, October 14, 2006 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City, son of the late James Dalton and Bessie Short Weaver. Jack was a retired fireman for East Tennessee State University and was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: his first wife, Elizabeth Weaver, a sister, four half sisters and two brothers. Survivors include: his wife, Nina Dugan Weaver of the home, two sons, Gary Weaver, Nashville and Tommy Weaver of Johnson City; three daughters, Virginia White, Judy Taylor and Joyce Gail Johnson all of Johnson City; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, October 16, 2006 at the Monte Vista Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. with his son Gary speaking. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services.
