Timothy R. Arnett

Timothy R. Arnett, 52, of Johnson City, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Johnson City, son of the late Bill and Bertha Mitchell Arnett. Timothy was a retired construction worker who had been involved in metal building, roofing, and siding. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Arnett was preceded in death by: three brothers, Robert, Virgil, and Jimmy Lee Arnett; and two sisters, Mary Peters and Velma Louise Arnett. Survivors include: his fianc?, Norma Bennett, of the home; one daughter, Tracy Arnett, of Greeneville; two stepsons, Chris and Steven Bennett; one granddaughter, Haylie Garber; two brothers, Larry and Teddy Arnett; five sisters, Billie Callahan, Nellie Smith, Emma Hilton, Barbara Casey, and Shirley Green; and several nieces and nephews, The family will receive friends on Monday, April 18, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:30 PM at Gobble Cemetery under the direction of Clay Arwood. Active pallbearers will be selected from family friends.
