Mr. T. F. 'Tom' Malone, age 77, of Johnson City, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 19, 2013, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Malone was born in Sullivan County and had lived and worked in the Johnson City area for most of his life. He was the son of the late Fred and Mary Carr Malone and was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Mr. Malone was a man of deep faith and was devoted to serving the Lord through his life. He was a loving husband and father. He shared 37 years of marriage with his wife, Anne Sparks Malone, and he also adored his only son, Shannon L. Malone and his wife, Melinda 'Mindy' Malone. Being a grandfather was also very special to him and he enjoyed every moment that he got to spend with his grandson, Lakota Lee Malone! Mr. Malone also has one living brother, Eugene Malone. Mr. Malone made his living as a pest control technician for Orkin and had also served the Lord through the ministry of preaching earlier in his life. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013, at 5 p.m. in the South Chapel at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Frazier will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. The family wishes to thank all of their friends and family for the many thoughts and prayers during Mr. Malones illness. They also would like to extend a very special 'thank-you' to the 5200 floor of the Johnson City Medical Center for their outstanding care!
