Tony L. Green

Tony L. Green, 69, Bluff City, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 1, 2022.

Tony was born in North Carolina to his late father Vernon and mother Ruby Crott Green.

Tony was a faithful longtime member, choir member, and Deacon of Piney Flatts First Baptist Church.

He helped many people and made many friends throughout the community as the retired owner of Green’s Auto Center.

Survivors include: his loving wife Debbie Green; two sons, Jon Green (Cynthia) and Ben Green (Jessica); three grandchildren, Abigail Green, Arianna Green, and Eli Green; his mother, Ruby Green; ten siblings, Glenda Worley, Dennis Green, Steve Green (Tammy), Gloria Frederick (Rick), Wanda Felty, Teresa Reynolds (Scott), Jeff Green, Melissa Grubbs, Brad Green, and Brian Green (Tracy); and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation service for Tony Green will held from 5pm – 7pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Piney Flatts First Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at 7pm.

Pallbearers include: Stan Stevens, Hiram Rash, Rondie Sells, Randy Gilliam, Ed Burleson, and Mike Marshall serving as an honorary pallbearer.

A committal service for Tony will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Edgefield Cemetery at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Piney Flatts First Baptist Church, 100 Cherry Road, Piney Flatts, TN 37686.
