JOHNSON CITY- Tracy Jack Shepherd, 49, 3111 Mayfield Drive, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Johnson City Medical Center. Tracy was born on January 13, 1964 to Patsy and Jack Shepherd. He was an active child who ended up with the usual scrapes and bruises. When he got older, he decided to follow his father and brother in serving his country. When he was 18 he joined the Army. He was stationed at Fort Bragg and Italy. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne and loved to tell stories to his children about the times he jumped out of helicopters. Around the same time, he also married his first wife, Lisa Seaver. In 1984, while stationed in Italy, he had the first of his three children, a boy. After being discharged from the Army, he had his second son in 1985. Tracy got divorced from Lisa and later married Rhonda, his second wife. With Rhonda, he had his third and final child, a baby girl. He named her Heather Dannielle. After Rhonda tragically passed away, he married for a final time, to Sheryl Shepherd. He finally found his soul mate and his life partner. He enjoyed a number of things. He loved to dance and really enjoyed line dancing. He also loved to sing and could be found at the Horseshoe Lounge many nights singing his heart out. He also loved those Tennessee Volunteers. One of the things he loved more than anything was making people laugh. He was always a cut up and had a great laugh, which he shared with people as often as he could. Tracy left us too soon and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Patsy and Jack Shepherd; love of his life and soul mate, Sheryl Shepherd; son and daughter-in-law Nick & Cindy Shepherd; son Adam Shepherd; his baby girl, Dannielle Cressell and her husband, Brandon Cressell; his brother and sister-in-law Tim & Angie Shepherd; his brother and sister-in-law Jeff & Kathy Shepherd; stepson Travis Scott; stepdaughter and her husband Michelle and Luke Clyburn; grandchildren Zoey Waites, Emmy Shepherd, Bryson Cressell, Sydney Scott and Mia Clyburn.
