Tyler P. Taylor, 69, Johnson City, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016. Mr. Taylor was a Davidson County native, and son of the late Howard Ramsey and Margaret Price Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Marine veteran. Mr. Taylor was a CPA for Pet Dairy. Mr. Taylor was a loyal friend with a huge heart. He was a very giving and selfless person with a dry wit. Mr. Taylor fostered several children but also had close personal relationships with Jeffrey L. Hurt, Mark Jenkins, Tonya (Toni) Chambliss, Shawn Cartwright, and many children of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program. Survivors include: one son, Byron Taylor and his wife Alissa; one grandson, Easton-James Taylor; and three nieces, Andrea Held and her husband Gary, Medea Richey and her husband Lance, and Pamela Tidwell and her husband Clay. The family of Tyler P. Taylor will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2016 at Morris-Baker. There will be a second visitation held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home in Nashville. Honorary pallbearers include: close colleagues and friends from Pet Dairy. A committal service will follow at 2:30 PM at Calvary Cemetery in Nashville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Youth Villages, 3915 Bristol Highway, #101, Johnson City, TN 37601.
