Vannessa Marie Stanton

Vannessa Marie Stanton, 31, of Limestone passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was the daughter of Charles Robert and Janet Mary (Burgess) Stanton of Urbandale, Iowa. She was born March 30, 1982 in Johnson City, Tennessee. She is survived by: father, Charles Robert Stanton of Iowa; mother, Janet Mary Stanton of Iowa; son, Nolan Cameron of White Pines, Tennessee; brothers, Matthew Stanton of Iowa and Joseph Stanton of Elizabethton, Tennessee; several uncles, aunts and cousins and special friend, Roma Carimi, who was like a grandmother to her. Vannessa is preceded in death by: paternal grandparents, Robert D. and Bernice Stanton; maternal grandparents, Milton and Florence Burgess and two uncles, Andrew and Daniel Burgess. The family of Vannessa Marie Stanton will receive friends and family from 7:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Morris Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday 1:00pm at the Saint Marys Catholic Church in Johnson City, Tennessee. Procession to the Washington County Memory Gardens Cemetery will leave the church for graveside committal service at 2:00pm.
