Velma Louise Ferguson

Velma Louise Ferguson, 78, of Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Franklin Woods Community Hospital. She was a native of Watauga and a daughter of the late, William James Pealer and Cordia Allen Simpson Pealer. She was also preceded in death by her husband Herbert and by five brothers and one sister. Mrs. Ferguson was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include; two sons, Randy Robertson and Michael Robertson both of Johnson City; two daughters, Cynthia Robertson and Brenda Robertson Counts and her husband Roger all of Johnson City; two sisters, Gracie Saylor and her husband Kenneth of Michigan and Julie Ward of Johnson City; six grandchildren; four great grandchilkdren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 pm Wednesday from the Morris-Baker North Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 until 6:00 pm on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Johnson City, TN 37601.
