Venon Max Dyer

Vernon Max Dyer, 63, of 114 Mountain View Circle, Hampton died Sunday, November 13, 2005 following an illness. He was a native of Greene County, son of the late James H Dyer and Ethel Jellette. Mr. Dyer was a chemistry teacher at the Johnson County High School for 30 years and was President of the Johnson County Teachers Association for several years. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his wife, Janice Harmon Dyer of the home; his mother, Ethel Lucille Dyer of Hampton; a brother, Kenneth Dyer of Greenville; several nieces. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Fred S. Witty, Jr. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at two.
