Vincent John DiGregorio, 94, Johnson City, Tennessee passed away June 26, 2020.
Vincent was born in Brooklyn, New York May 22, 1926 to Salvatore and Mildred DiGregorio. He received his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University Brooklyn and was a Veteran from the United States Navy where he served his country for three years during World War II.
He retired from Coopers & Lybrand in New York, New York as a computer programmer and moved to Del Rey Beach, Florida in the mid 90’s. In later years he moved to Johnson City, TN to be closer to family.
Vinnie was an avid athlete having played basketball and baseball in school and tennis in his adult life. He is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife Ruth Ellis DiGregorio, his children Mary and Vincent DiGregorio, stepson Dr. Keith Ellis (Michelle) and children. He is also survived by one brother Alfred L. DiGregorio and wife Genene and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to acknowledge Vinnie’s dear friends from the tennis courts and the Friday Firehouse round table.
A private graveside service will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery. A recording of the service will be available at morrisbaker.com following the service.
