Virgie Irene Frisco

Virgie Irene Frisco, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Cornerstone Village North. Ms. Frisco was born on November 15, 1929 in Wise County, Armo, VA, to the late Charles and Ruby Loudy Frisco. Ms. Frisco was a member of East Unaka Christian Church since 1942. Ms. Frisco was a 1948 graduate of Science Hill High School. She worked for Sequoyah Boy Scouts for 13 years. She then started working as a secretary for ETSU student affairs in 1966 until retirement in 1994. In addition to her parents, Virgie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Eliza Sams Loudy. Survivors include several cousins. The family of Virgie Frisco will receive friends Friday, June 24, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Dr. Wayne Emery officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at Monte Vista Memorial park.
