Virginia Dare Range

Virginia Dare Range, 87, of Johnson City, died Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Wise County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Ira 'R. D.'? and Ada Richardson Breeding. Virginia was a cook in the Carter County School System for many years. She was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Jack Range in 1980, also several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Pamela of the home; two grandchildren, Jeffery Allen Range, II and Callie Range also of the home; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Range '? Hendrix Cemetery in Johnson City, under the direction of Rev. Richard Hilton. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm then leave in procession from Morris '? Baker Funeral Home to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
