Virginia Elizabeth Roark

Phil 4:13; I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Virginia 'Jenny'? Roark, 91, of Johnson City, died Thursday, October 4, 2012 in the Lakebridge Health Care Center. She was born in Jonesborough, TN a daughter of the late Ira D. Daniels and Anna D. Gray Daniels. Mrs. Roark was a homemaker and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Roark, one daughter, Tommie Sue Aesque, one son-in-law, Gary E. Aesque, one granddaughter, Dedie Covington Price, one great grandson, Cody Adam Church, two sisters, Ella May Daniels Oliver and Inell Daniels Waltzer, and one brother, Ira 'Strawberry'? Daniels, Jr. Survivors include one son, Robert 'Rocky'? Roark and wife Janie of Knoxville, TN; one daughter, Ann Covington and husband Jack, of Maryville, TN; one sister, Barbara Daniels Schell; seven grandchildren, Todd Aesque, Amy Aesque Lyons, Gina Aesque Church, Jody Covington, Jack 'Chip'? Covington, Amanda Roark Kelton, and Robert 'Will'? Roark; eight great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Virginia 'Jenny'? Roark will be held at 8:00pm Sunday, October 7, 2012 in the Morris Baker Funeral Home South Chapel with Chaplain Dwight MacPherson and Pastor Barry Mayfield officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A private graveside service will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery. The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff at Lakebridge Health Care Center, Austin Broyles and to her niece, Joy Lynn Daniels.
