Virginia Lee Julian

Virginia Lee Julian, 78, 2016 East Unaka Avenue, Johnson City died Monday, December 8, 2008 in the Four Oaks Health Care Center. Mrs. Julian was a native of Fayette County, West Virginia who had lived all of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Nellie Osborne Gibson. In addition to her parents her husband, Harvey Julian, Sr., in December 1977 and one son, Harvey Julian, Jr, in December 1987 also preceded her in death. Mrs. Julian was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith. Survivors include: one daughter, Linda Harmon and her husband Keith of Jonesborough; one granddaughter, Sherry Barnett and her husband Rick of Jonesborough; two great grandsons, Brett and Joshua Barnett both of Jonesborough. The funeral service for Virginia Lee Julian will be conducted at 12:30 PM Thursday, December 11, 2008 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Bob Edmonds will officiate. The committal service will follow in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Keith Harmon, Mike Conley, Chris Ryans and Rick Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will be: Tony Case and Tony Case, Jr. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Thursday prior to the service.
