Virginia Nell Keys

Virginia Nell Keys, 68 of Elizabethton, died Saturday, May 22, 2021 at her residence. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late Willie and Jewel Heaton Maupin.
Virginia was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, a son Joseph Willis and a grandchild, Nevaeh Ashley preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her memory are; her son Greg Willis; daughter and son-in-law, April and Christopher Ashley; brothers, Jack, Dean and Junior Maupin; sisters, Betty Arrowood, Patsy J. and Barbara Jones; eight grandchildren, Kayla, Brittany, Christopher’s Ashley, Noah, Josh, Jonah, Hallie and Sophie Ashley; great grandchildren, Miley and Cooper Smith, Paul Humphreys IV and Carson Carpenter; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, May 28, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Mausoleum Chapel of the Washington County Memory Gardens under the direction of Pastor Teddy Lewis. Active pallbearers will be Paul Humphreys, Christopher Carpenter, Kaleen Cameron and Jimmy Belt. Those attending are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 1:50 pm.
