Walter Lee Gunn

Walter Lee Gunn, 55, of Johnson City, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Johnson City. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Junior Lee Gunn and Lois Fultz Carrender. Walter was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, a granddaughter, two sisters and two brothers all preceded him in death. Survivors include: four sons, Gregory, Eric, Allen, Byron and Nathan Gunn; a brother and sister-in-law, Earnest ?Lee' and Judy Berry Gunn; a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Forrest Lovell; a grandson Collin ?Bubba' Gunn; and a great niece, Alexis Boughers; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Teresa and Brian Nickles. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 10:00 am under the direction of Rev. Matt Guy at the Cochran Cemetery in Carter County. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
