Wesley Dale Garland, Sr.

Wesley Dale Garland, Sr., 34, of 243 White Cove Road, Unicoi, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness. He was a native of Johnson City, son of Tom and Louise White Garland of Unicoi. Wesley was an ironworker involved in the construction business. He was of the Baptist faith. Wesley love to fish the local rivers and streams. Survivors including his parents are: his wife, Cindy Greer Garland of the home; two sons, Wesley Dale Garland, Jr. and Allen Ray Garland both of the home; a brother, Thomas Garland, Jr. of Unicoi; three sisters, Ruthie Hyatt and Margaret Miller both of Unicoi and Angie Hawkins of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Washington County Memory Gardens at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. A procession will leave the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Kenneth Greer, Daniel Hopson, John Honeycutt, William Davis, Adam Smith and Thomas Garland. The family requests donations to the Wesley D.
