Wilburn Heishell Goodman, 65, of 1608 E. Fairview Avenue, Johnson City, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Flint, Michigan, son of the late Howard and Stella Price Goodman. Wilburn was a former employee of Empire Furniture. He attended the First Free Will Baptist Church of Keystone. Survivors include: his wife, Caroline Campbell Goodman of the home; four sons, Kenny Human of Johnson City, Lonnie Human, Sr. of Jonesborough, John Human of Jonesborough and Leroy Human of Johnson City; two daughters, Mary Sullivan of Franklinton, North Carolina and Viva Carter of Paducah, Kentucky; a brother, Kenneth Goodman of Johnson City; four sisters, Ida Hensley of Virginia, Frances of Greeneville, Janice and Sue of Johnson City; four half sisters, Martha, Ellen and Linda all of Johnson City and Peggy of Elizabethton; eighteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Rev. David Campbell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight. A committal service will be conducted on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. All attending the committal are asked to assemble at the funeral home to leave in procession at 12:30 p.m. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to the Wilburn H.
