William Barry Tester

William 'Bill'? Barry Tester, 49, 242 Jim Town Road, Lot #1, Jonesborough, died Friday, December 19, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Tester was a life long resident of Washington County. He is the son of Barbara Mitchell Tester and the late William Frank Tester. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Tester. Mr. Tester was a contractor. He attended 'Y'? Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Laurie Tester of the home; one son, Paul Tester of Illinois and one step-son, Joshua Hartman of Johnson City; four daughters, Nikki Tester of the home, Shauna Spears and her husband James of Greeneville, Grace Meissner and her husband Eric of Illinois, Billie Jo Tester of Illinois; one brother, Richard Tester of Jonesborough; five sisters, Sherry Ponce and her husband Rick of Unicoi, Paula Coomer and her husband Bill of Jonesborough, Laura Tester of Jonesborough, Mary Chatman and her husband Jim of Nashville and Alice Sanders and her husband Sammy of Jonesborough; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The graveside service for William 'Bill'? Barry Tester will be conducted at 1:45 PM Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in the Philadelphia Cemetery, Limestone. Rev. Glen Hoilman will officiate. Active pallbearers will be: Joshua Hartman, David Proffitt, Charles Pierson, Bill Coomer, Dustin Coomer and William Roberts. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
