William Henry Williams II, 56, of Johnson City, died Friday, August 16, 2019 at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. He was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, son of the late Don and Nancy Hall Williams.
William served as a radio operator in the U. S. Army, 101st Airborne Division, and was stationed in Korea and several bases in the continental US.
William was of the Baptist faith and resided in Sevierville TN for many years. He was a retired chef, enjoyed drawing, cooking and especially visiting with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his three children, Chasity Williams Massaros, Gabrielle “Gabby” Williams and William Williams,JR.; a sister, Dreama Lampa and a brother, Troy Williams; two grandchildren, Karma and Avalon.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 2:30 pm at Mountain Home National Cemetery under the direction of Chaplain Ketron. Military honors will be accorded by the Bristol VFW. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 2:20 pm on Friday.
