William L. Bill Warren

2 Timothy 4:7: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith. Mr. William 'Bill'? L. Warren, 59, of Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at his daughters residence. He was the son of the late James 'Bud'? and Lorraine Hager Warren. Mr. Warren was the owner and operator of Bluff City Marble. He was a member of Telford Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. In addition to his parents, Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his three brothers, Charles Wesley Warren, Robert Lee Warren, Sr. and John Wesley Warren; one sister, Virginia Warren and grandmother, Mable Louise Hager. Mr. Warren was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and friend. Mr. Warren loved the Lord and is now in his presence. He loved life and enjoyed many activities especially racing ATV, which inspired the entire family to participate in the sport as well. Mr. Warren adored his grandchildren and great grandchild. They were the apple of his eye. All who knew him loved him. Survivors include: one daughter, Stacey Warren Douglas and husband Todd, of Johnson City; one son, Billy Allen Warren and his wife Carrie, of Jonesborough; five brothers, James Edward Warren, Jr, of Jonesborough, Richard Allen Warren, of Johnson City, David Orville Warren, of Johnson City, Thomas Wayne Warren, of Kingsport, and Daniel Eugene Warren, of Jonesborough; one sister, Betty Louise Tibbs, of Jonesborough; four grandchildren, Logan Douglas, Zachary Douglas, Tiffany Warren and Megan Warren; one great-grandson, Easton Oakley Hensley; girlfriend, Violet Colbaugh; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mr. William 'Bill'? L. Warren will be conducted at 8 PM Friday, August 16, 2013, in the Morris- Baker South Chapel. Mr. Warrens nephew Robert L. Warren, Jr. and Rev. William Lunsford will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM Friday evening, August 16, 2013 in the Morris Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Committal services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 1 PM in the Maple Lawn Cemetery, Jonesborough. Active pallbearers will be Terry McKee, Kirk Hayes, Logan Douglas, Phil Hensley, Tim Furches and Chad Henson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Hayes, Burlen Hardin, Larry Smith and Zack Douglas. Ministers, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12:15 PM Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
