William Philllips

William 'Bill'? Phillips, 81 of Johnson City, passed away at his residence on Thursday July 14 2011. He was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a son of the late Willlard O. and Mae Hughes Phillips. Bill was a job Superintentant with J. I. Cornett Construction Co. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Philips; one daughter, Kathy Parrott and her husband Mike of Johnson City; one son, Jeff Phillips and his wife Robyn of Johnson City; one sister, Kathleen Minga of Johnson City; two Grand daughters, Madison and Morgan Phillips and two Grandsons, William and Mitchell Parrott. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 3:30pm from Roselawn Memory Gardens. Rev. Delbert Storie will officiate. Burial will follow the service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until 3:00 pm Sunday.
