William Thomas Jones

William 'Billy' Thomas Jones, 59, of 609 W. Oakland Court, died at his residence, following a lengthy illness, Friday, November 25, 2005. Billy was born in Port Arthur, TX. He attended Pinecrest School in Walnut Cove, NC and Great Oaks in Maryland, near Washington, D.C. When he moved back to Johnson City he attended Dawn of Hope. He was preceded in death by his father, Onie M. Jones, and by his step father, Walter Erwin. He is survived by his mother, Thelma Jones Erwin, 1615 Woodland Ave., Johnson City; one brother, Ron Jones of Johnson City; two nephews, Deron Jones of Sneads Ferry, NC and Chris Jones of Johnson City. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 PM Sunday from the South Chapel of Morris-Baker Funeral Home Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM Monday and proceed to the cemetery. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 until 3:30 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: the Dawn of Hope Foundation, 500 E.
