Yvonne Elizabeth Fields

Yvonne Charlene Fields, 62, Johnson City, died Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Fields was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was a daughter of the late Charles Edward Hodges and Irene Huddle Hodges Lilly and was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Cecil Lilly. Mrs. Fields was a former insurance agent with AAA. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and an active member of the Johnson City Senior Citizens. Mrs. Fields was a member of Walnut Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Greg Fields; sister, Linda Hodges Phillips, Jonesborough; brother, Charles E. Hodges, Jr., Greeneville; special sisters, Paula J. Bridges, Jonesborough and Jackie Duncan, Greeneville; special sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Jeff Fields, Johnson City; nephew, Evan Hodges, VA Beach, VA and a son, Bear. A funeral service for Mrs. Fields will be conducted at 8 PM Sunday, August 23, 2009 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Minister Tim Carlson will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 11:00 AM and travel in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Gary Moody, Gary Moody, Jr., Jeff Fields, Steve Phillips, Charles E. Hodges, Jr., and George Tabor.
